The story as narrated
A customer reported that the excavator’s air-conditioning system was not working properly, so we arrived at the site and carried out a complete inspection of the AC system. We connected the manifold gauge set to check the system condition and found that the refrigerant was black and contaminated. Further inspection identified the compressor as defective. To properly restore the system, we replaced the compressor, condenser, and AC filters, flushed and cleaned the refrigeration circuit, and cleaned the expansion valve. After completing the repair, the system was evacuated and refilled with refrigerant, followed by a final pressure and performance check. The AC system was then tested and confirmed to be operating normally with proper cooling. This case demonstrates the importance of complete AC system diagnosis and cleaning rather than simply replacing a failed component.
