The story as narrated

The eldest child in the family Is always the fruit of abundant love; To Mom, she becomes a mother figure, To Dad, an older brother. The poor soul is working from childhood on, Born into the world just to earn a living— Engineer or doctor, They must make it happen, come what may. The middle child arrives via the stork, Grows up watching *Ordak Tak-Tak*; Uncle Pourang and Auntie Shadoneh are their pals, And no one quite knows where in the house they are. They expect nothing from anyone, And their birthday comes only once every three years; With thick, bottle-bottom glasses, They’re known simply as "so-and-so's kid." The youngest—the baby of the family— Suddenly appears out of the chimney flue; At first, they’re sooty and ugly, Then, all at once, an angel. It doesn't matter if they study at all, As long as they’re there to crack a joke; Impulsive, cheeky, wacky, and wild, They arrive to become the light of the home.
