The story as narrated

Create a short, funny and interactive preschool video called: “Kovi, That’s Not How You Do It!” Target audience: children ages 3–5. Target duration: 60–75 seconds. MAIN CONCEPT: Kovi keeps confidently doing simple everyday things the WRONG way. The child watching should immediately notice the mistake and have time to correct Kovi before the answer is revealed. Kovi is playful and curious, not foolish. The recurring pattern is: Kovi makes a silly mistake. Kovi looks directly at the viewer. Kovi asks: “Like this?” Pause for about 2 seconds. Then Kovi discovers the correct answer and reacts: “OHHH!” Keep the video funny, visual and very easy to understand. IMPORTANT: Do not turn this into a lesson or educational presentation. Do not use a narrator explaining everything. The humor and visual mistakes should drive the video. SCENE 1 — SHOE Start immediately with the visual joke. Kovi proudly walks into the scene with a SHOE ON HIS HEAD. Kovi: “I’m ready!” Kovi notices the viewer looking at him. Kovi: “What?” Pause. Kovi points at the shoe. Kovi: “Like this?” Pause for the child to answer. The shoe appears correctly on his foot. Kovi: “OHHH!” Kovi laughs. SCENE 2 — BANANA PHONE Kovi holds a banana against his ear. Kovi: “Hello?” Pause. Kovi: “Helloooo?” He looks at the viewer. Kovi: “Like this?” Pause. A real phone appears. Kovi looks at the phone... then at the banana. Kovi: “OHHH!” Kovi takes a bite of the banana. SCENE 3 — TOOTHBRUSH Kovi is in the bathroom. He proudly picks up a HAIRBRUSH and moves it toward his teeth. Kovi: “Brush my teeth!” He stops. Looks at the viewer. Kovi: “Like this?” Pause. A toothbrush appears. Kovi: “OHHH!” Hairbrush → hair. Toothbrush → teeth. Kovi smiles proudly. SCENE 4 — BEDTIME Kovi walks into his bedroom carrying his pillow. Instead of going to bed, he puts the pillow on the FLOOR and prepares to sleep next to the bed. He looks at the viewer. Kovi: “Like this?” Pause. Kovi looks up. The empty bed is directly beside him. Kovi: “OHHH!” Kovi jumps into bed. FINAL GAG Kovi returns proudly. Kovi: “Now I know EVERYTHING!” Pause. Kovi smiles. Reveal that Kovi is wearing his pants BACKWARDS. Kovi looks down. Then looks directly at the viewer. Kovi: “...what?” CUT TO END.
