Lyrics as sung in the video

Look up high! What do you see? The moon is hopping on one knee! Wait a minute… something's wrong! The moon forgot its shoes! [VERSE 1] Moon came out at half past eight, But couldn't find its shoes by the gate. One little sock was hiding away, The other one shouted, “Not today!” The moon looked left, The moon looked right, It checked behind a satellite! Then from a cloud came a funny sound… “Psst! Your shoes are upside down!” [PRE-CHORUS] Tiptoe, tiptoe, soft and slow, Moon says, “Where did my sneakers go?” Clap your hands and stomp your feet, Help the moon find its dancing beat! [CHORUS] 🎵 The moon forgot its shoes tonight! Left one missing, right one—flight! Tiptoe left and tiptoe right, Bounce like moonbeams in the night! Clap, clap! Stomp, stomp! Moon says, “Wait— I found my socks!” Spin around and touch the sky, Moon shoes flying way up high! Everybody shout, “Yahoo!” The moon found both its shoes! 🎵 [VERSE 2] They found one shoe on a star, The other one had traveled far. A little comet zoomed right by: “Is this your shoe? I found it in the sky!” The moon said, “Yes!” The stars said, “Yay!” Then everybody danced away. But wait… The moon looked down and cried: “OH NO! THEY'RE ON THE WRONG FEET!” [DANCE BREAK] 🎵 Left shoe! Right shoe! Which one goes where? Tap your toes! Touch your nose! Moon boots in the air! Step, step, Moonwalk back! Clap, clap, Stay on track! Wiggle like a little star, Now jump like you're on Mars! Freeze! Don't move! Moon says… “BOO!” [CHORUS] 🎵 The moon forgot its shoes tonight! But now they're sparkling bright! Tiptoe left and tiptoe right, Bounce like moonbeams in the night! Clap, clap! Stomp, stomp! Everybody do the moonbeam stomp! Spin around and touch the sky, Wave to every star nearby! Everybody shout, “Yahoo!” The moon found both its shoes! 🎵 [BRIDGE] The moon put on its left shoe… Tap! The moon put on its right shoe… Tap! Then the moon tried one big jump… BOING! It bounced right over the Milky Way! “I'm ready for my dance!” [FINAL DANCE] 🎵 Tiptoe, tiptoe! Stomp, stomp, stomp! Moonwalk, moonwalk! Jump, jump, jump! Clap to the stars! Wiggle to the beat! Everybody dance With your moon shoes on your feet! Five, four, three, two, one… MOON SHOE PARTY! 🌙🎉 [FINAL CHORUS] 🎵 The moon remembered its shoes tonight! Now it's dancing in the silver light! Step to the left! Step to the right! Moon shoes sparkling through the night! Clap, clap! Stomp, stomp! Give your biggest moonbeam jump! Wave goodbye to the stars up high… “GOODNIGHT!” The moon puts on its shoes… And dances across the sky! 🎵
