Lyrics as sung in the video

[Intro] Five spooky pumpkins, come count with me! Sitting by a big old Halloween tree. One, two, three, four, five! Five little pumpkins come alive! [Verse 1] Five spooky pumpkins glowing bright, Giggling together on Halloween night. One rolled away and shouted, “BOO!” Now there are four, let's count them too! [Verse 2] Four spooky pumpkins dance with glee, One rolled away behind the tree. Three spooky pumpkins wiggle and sway, One said, “Bye!” and rolled away! [Verse 3] Two spooky pumpkins side by side, One rolled off on a silly ride. One spooky pumpkin waved goodbye, And rolled away beneath the moonlit sky! [Ending] Zero little pumpkins, where did they go? Wait! Here they come, rolling in a row! One, two, three, four, five! Five spooky pumpkins have arrived!

Music style

Upbeat, catchy preschool Halloween song for ages 2–5, approximately 90 seconds. Cute, playful, magical and slightly spooky, but never scary. Bouncy 120 BPM rhythm with xylophone, marimba, pizzicato strings, playful bells, hand claps and light drums. Add gentle Halloween touches like whimsical ghostly “oohs,” tiny creaks, bubbling magical sounds and playful “boo!” effects. Cheerful female lead vocal with a bright, animated preschool-teacher style and extremely clear pronunciation. Simple repetitive melody that toddlers can easily sing and count along with. Make the counting numbers especially clear and exciting. Start vocals immediately. Fast transitions between verses. No long intro, no instrumental breaks, no repeated verses or chorus, and no long outro. End immediately after the final lyric.
