Lyrics as sung in the video
[Verse] The itsy bitsy spider is very very small. He wants to climb the spout upon the garden wall. He wiggles his eight legs to start his steady climb. He goes up very slowly and takes his time. [Chorus] The itsy bitsy spider is climbing up so high. He wants to see the sun in the big blue sky. Down comes the rain and washes him right out. But he will try again to climb the water spout. [Verse] The clouds begin to gather and hide the sunny day. The silly little raindrops begin to splash and play. They wash the little spider right back to the ground. He spins a silver web and looks all around. [Chorus] The itsy bitsy spider is climbing up so high. He wants to see the sun in the big blue sky. Down comes the rain and washes him right out. But he will try again to climb the water spout. [Bridge] Never give up little spider friend. The rain will stop and the storm will end. Out comes the sun with a warm bright glow. Point your legs up and go go go. [Chorus] The itsy bitsy spider is climbing up so high. He wants to see the sun in the big blue sky. Down comes the rain and washes him right out. But he will try again to climb the water spout.
