[Late-autumn dusk in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. An old wooden sharehouse seen from the doorstep. Anime-style hand-painted illustration, soft watercolor texture, clean ink lines, muted teal-grey walls and warm amber tungsten light, faint film grain, slow deliberate camera, no on-screen text. Léa stands on the step with her suitcase. The wooden front door slides open from inside and reveals Suzuki in the warm light of the genkan. Behind her, a long narrow wooden corridor with sliding paper doors and a single bare bulb on a cord; far at the end, small and out of focus, Ren sits on the floor. Slow push-in over Léa's shoulder.] Narrator: Léa est arrivée au sharehouse. Suzuki-san a ouvert la porte. Dans le couloir, un enfant était assis seul, tenant une tasse de thé à deux mains, regardant vers elle. [Inside the genkan, warm bulb light. Suzuki-san gives a small unhurried bow, then opens her palm toward the corridor, a calm knowing half-smile.] Suzuki: いらっしゃいませ。鈴木です。どうぞ。 [Léa steps into the genkan, still in her coat and scarf, one hand on the suitcase handle. She bows a little too deeply, then straightens with a nervous, sincere smile. Warm light reaches her face, blue dusk stays behind her.] Léa: 初めまして。モローです。フランスから来ました。どうぞよろしくお願いします。 [A sliding paper door on the left opens and Sora steps out, ducking under the frame. Suzuki presents him with an open hand.] Suzuki: こちらはソラさんです。スタートアップのデザイナーです。 [Sora faces Léa, a relaxed friendly bow and a small wave he catches himself doing, warm smile behind his glasses. Léa returns the bow at the edge of the frame.] Sora: ソラ・田中です。初めまして。どうぞよろしく。 [Over Léa's shoulder, the whole corridor recedes in perspective. At the far end, directly under the bare bulb, Ren sits on the floorboards with the tea cup, looking straight at Léa. Nothing else moves. Camera completely static. The room sound thins to near silence.] Narrator: Silence. Léa remarque l'enfant qui la regarde toujours, sans sourire, sans gêne. [Close-up of Léa, warm light from the front, cool blue rim light behind. Her eyes stay on the child; she hesitates, glances sideways toward Suzuki, then back.] Léa: あの…あの子は…誰ですか。 [Suzuki-san in the genkan, half turned away, hanging a key on a hook by the shoe cabinet. She answers over her shoulder with a light, matter-of-fact nod toward the corridor, completely unbothered. Behind her Sora leans on the wall glancing at his phone, equally unbothered.] Suzuki: ああ、レンちゃんです。 [Slow dolly down the corridor toward Ren, lowering from adult eye height to the child's eye level. Ren lowers the cup a few centimetres and gives one small precise nod. The expression does not change, the eyes never leave the camera, the steam keeps rising.] Ren: …レンです。初めまして、レアさん。 [Close-up of Léa frozen mid-smile; the smile fades by a fraction. Her hand tightens on the suitcase handle. Behind her, out of focus, the doorway has gone from blue dusk to night. Hold, then slow fade to warm near-black.] Narrator: Léa n'a pas encore dit son prénom.
