[Sunny sidewalk; Phoebe and Phoenix wave.] Phoebe: Hi, friends! I'm Phoebe, and this is Phoenix! [They walk toward a cheerful library.] Phoebe: Today we're visiting the library. Come along! [They stop at the big blue doors.] Phoebe: Look at those doors, Phoenix! Ready to explore? [Phoenix wags his tail.] Phoebe: Ha! That wag means yes! [Phoebe looks up at the building.] Phoebe: I've never been inside. I wonder what we'll find! [They enter the sunny children's library.] Phoebe: Wow! There are books everywhere! [Phoebe points to a cozy reading corner.] Phoebe: And look! A reading corner just for kids! [Phoenix sniffs a shelf.] Phoebe: Careful, buddy. Let's be gentle with the books. [Phoebe admires bright covers.] Phoebe: Every book has a different adventure inside. [She spots a space book up high.] Phoebe: Ooh! There's one about the moon! [Phoebe reaches for the book.] Phoebe: Hmm. It's a little too high for me. [She stretches on tiptoe.] Phoebe: Even my tippy toes can't reach it! [Phoebe looks around.] Phoebe: Maybe I can ask somebody for help. [She sees a friendly librarian.] Phoebe: I'm a little nervous. I haven't met her yet. [Phoenix sits beside her.] Phoebe: Thanks for being here, Phoenix. I can be brave! [Phoebe approaches the librarian.] Phoebe: Excuse me! Could you help me find a moon book? [The librarian smiles and points.] Phoebe: Over there? Oh, thank you! [They follow her to the space shelf.] Phoebe: Come on, Phoenix! We found the right shelf! [The librarian hands Phoebe the book.] Phoebe: You reached it! Thank you so much! [Phoebe holds the book carefully.] Phoebe: Asking for help was easier than I thought. [Phoenix wags beside her.] Phoebe: And it was a kind thing to do! [They walk to the reading corner.] Phoebe: Let's find a cozy place to read. [Phoebe sits on a soft cushion.] Phoebe: Ready? Our book adventure is beginning! [She opens to a picture of a full moon.] Phoebe: Look! The moon is so big and round! [She turns to a crescent moon.] Phoebe: But here, it's shaped like a little banana! [Phoebe compares the pictures.] Phoebe: Why does the moon look different sometimes? [She finds a picture of sunlight.] Phoebe: Aha! The sun lights up part of the moon! [She studies moon phases.] Phoebe: We see different amounts of that bright part. [Phoenix tilts his head.] Phoebe: Pretty amazing, huh, Phoenix? [Phoebe flips the page.] Phoebe: Oh! Here's something I didn't know! [The page shows the moon in a blue sky.] Phoebe: The moon can be out during the day! [Phoebe looks amazed.] Phoebe: I thought we could only see it at night! [She points to a daytime moon.] Phoebe: But sometimes it's visible in the daytime, too. [She points to Earth and the moon.] Phoebe: The moon travels around our Earth. [She looks at a sunlight diagram.] Phoebe: And sunlight makes the moon look bright! [Phoenix puts a paw near the book.] Phoebe: You want to learn more too, don't you? [She turns to astronauts on the moon.] Phoebe: Look! People have even walked on the moon! [Phoebe imagines bouncing there.] Phoebe: I'd love to hop around up there someday! [She glances toward a window.] Phoebe: We can search for the moon in the daytime sky. [She smiles toward the camera.] Phoebe: But never look directly at the sun, friends! [Phoebe gently closes the book.] Phoebe: I learned so many new things today. [She pats Phoenix.] Phoebe: And we found them just by asking questions! [They bring the book to the checkout desk.] Phoebe: May I borrow this book, please? [The librarian helps without speaking.] Phoebe: Thank you! I'll take good care of it. [Phoebe holds the borrowed book.] Phoebe: And I'll bring it back when I'm done! [They walk outside into the sunshine.] Phoebe: That was my very first library adventure! [Phoenix wags under a leafy tree.] Phoebe: We can be curious even when we're nervous. [Phoebe smiles at her book.] Phoebe: And it's always okay to ask for help. [Phoebe looks up at the blue sky.] Phoebe: Next time, let's look for the daytime moon! [Phoebe and Phoenix wave goodbye.] Phoebe: Bye, friends! Keep wondering and exploring!
